Police in Canada are investigating attacks on children with red hair after an anti-ginger group was set up by a teenager on Facebook.
Officers said a teenager was believed to be behind the online site promoting “National Kick a Ginger Day”!

I’m glad you have recognised it as racism, most people don’t. I’m not a redhead but I’m half Welsh and I think it’s part of the same prejudice. I’ve had to sit in a class of English people talking about killing Welsh people, and everyone just found it funny. It’s just as unacceptable as any kind of racism, so thank you for posting this.

I’m ginger and no way is it racist … but it definately is prejudice. Racism is a form of prejudice though, it’s just there is a law to protect the people who suffer from racism because of the history.
