Sway is Back!
Right, bought this yesterday & listened to it last night but I’ve been super busy haven’t had time to give my opinion on it! I know alot of people have been waiting for the ‘Bashview’ because I received alot of feedback on the Ironik – No Point in Wasting Tears - ’Bashview’ so thanks for leaving your comments & sharing your opinions, they were well noted.
I was looking forward to listening to Sway’s Sophomore release but not looking forward to Bashviewing it cos Sway is my darg & if I didn’t like it, it would have put me in a sticky situation cos I was gonna give my honest opinion (‘good or bad’)
LUCKILY FOR OUR FRIENDSHIPS SAKE…Mr Derek Andrew Safo has delivered a solid, soul bearing, £9 worthy piece of art.
I inserted the disc into my Car CD player & heard ’Fit 4 A King’ which to be honest I wasn’t really feeling cos the spitting was super fast & I aint the biggest fan of fast paced lyrics. ‘Say it Twice’ was cool but not really my thing neither. I already like ‘Saturday Night Hustle’ so was singing along! When it got to ‘Silver & Gold’ I turned that shit up cos I’ve been waiting to hear the full version since the album launch. My line is ‘…whether its a drop or a range, one thing’s for sure its the top of the range’ “FUCK OFF!” that line will make you part exchange your whip if you haven’t got climate control, sat nav & heated leather seats! LMAO! I’m overly digging this tune…I can’t wait to see the video…infact, I wanna be in this video. (Sway Holla @ Me…if it in the U.S i’m coming!) I think this tunes banging but wanna see what its gonna do in the chart, cos really it should go top 5 at least, but who knows with this fucking country & music buying public! The hood will love it but will the heads in Dorset??? Time will tell!
‘F UR EX’ is a nice club track & is good when he does it live due to the crowd participation parts!
‘Jason Waste’ is the funniest song I’ve heard this year, its very comical I was bussing up!
‘Look After my Girl’ feat Darren B (You Ghanaians are taking over the fucking industry, LOL!) - The chorus is an out of order statement but so real. It reminds me of my Ex-girl…Anyway… No word of a lie one of my girlies loves this tune! Nice song!
‘Pray 4 Kaya’ is just deep… I knew they were close but that track gave me a real understanding. You can here the bruddas pain he open up here. It’s a heavy track though! R.I.P Kaya, D’Krystal & Patience.

Upload, Stereo & Letters to Heavan are tight & keep the albums momentom!
‘End of the Road’ feat Coco is nice too…I like the acoustic version aswell which I heard on the Jam Sessions!
All in all this is a solid album…It tells a story & gives you an insight to the Hornsey representers life & what he’s been going through ie losing loved ones & relationship issues!
The production is tight.
Go and buy it! It’s dutty & well worth it!

Big CD indeed. Copped it this morning. Tune with Akon is massive… and Pray for Kaya… wow. Fit 4 A King was my other favourite, lol. 140 Grime Street was better though.
