Jamming at Maida Vale!

Wussup! Just got in my yard! Was on Portobello Road talking with some mates! Thought I’d come on ere & tell you about my Jam Sessions in Maida Vale earlier today. Well I had a rehearsal with The Truth Movement in Grove the day before & this morning to make sure everything was sounding tight. I went to the BBC Live studio, the band set up everything with the help of the engineers. Did a quick interview with MistaJam & then off air recorded my version of Sam Sparro’s ‘Black & Gold’ entitled ‘Blacks & Gold’look out for that they might broadcast it later if not ill get it n upload it. Then I went LIVE with next tracks…These were previews off my album ‘Catch Me If U Can’. I started with a track called ‘Before Before’ then did ‘Living my Dream’ & ended on ‘Just Don’t Know’. I was overly nervous cos I had to perform brand new tracks which I’d never performed before at all. Its was the 1st time I did those track with a Band & the 1st time I’d done a LIVE Broadcast performance so it was nuts! I basically hasd to carry a radio show with a peformance which isn’t easy… The pressure was on but after the intro was out the way, I got comfy & gave a Flaming hot performance with the help of my band the Truth Movement. I got mad love from the supporters…thanks for texting n writing in leaving your comments its much appreciated. Watch this space for the full audio & for the visual.
